The Design for Greater Efficiency (DfGE) Design Challenge is an annual architecture competition initiated by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to encourage the creation of sustainable construction designs. This competition, which was started in 2023, has sought to increase students’ and young professionals’ knowledge of green building principles by highlighting resource-efficient designs and a focus on lowering carbon emissions. This national competition was attended by 53 participating teams which were then filtered into 10 winners with 5 main winners.
